Anyone who knows me, knows how much I cannot live without lip balm. Knowing my obsession, I've had a lot of requests and people asking me which lip-balms i would recommend and which ones are my favourites; so that's where the idea of putting all this into a blog post came from!
Instead of going through all of the lip balms I've used, I thought I'd tell you about my top 3 favourite lip balms and the ones I use most regularly.
1) EOS Lip balm
How did i find out about this product? Well the first lip balm from EOS i used, was the EOS Smooth Sphere in Sweet Mint which was given to me as a Christmas gift from a friend.
I had seen these a few times before (sponsored by Miley Cyrus) but I never really thought of trying it.
I definitely loved this from the start because it was so different and i loved the smell of it; not to mention how unique the shape was. So after how much i really liked the lip balm in Sweet Mint, I wanted to try out the others.
I then ordered the four pack lip balm which was called the Smooth Sphere/Smooth Stick Multipack: it included the Summer Fruit, Sweet Mint, and Honeysuckle Honeydew Smooth Spheres and Vanilla Bean Stick. My favourite had to be the Vanilla Bean Stick although I did prefer the less glossy look the Sphere ones gave.
The third time I ordered these was when these weren't available in the UK which is why I ordered them in the post from the USA. I wanted to try the other flavours(?) so I bought the 8-pack.
The most recent one i have used was the Visibly Soft Lip Balm in the Vanilla Mint that a friend gifted me as a souvenir from her trip to America.
To sum it all up, I would totally recommend any of the EOS lip balms because they stay on for the longest (out of all lip balms I have tried) without having to reapply again and again.
You can buy these at Selfridges (£6.50) and from Topshop for around the same price.
2. Chapstick
For me, I always use Chapstick as a backup in case I run out of the lip balm I am using (usually EOS) because its available at local drug stores and supermarkets. I usually go for the Original Chapstick flavours, in Cherry, or Apple. The reason this is in my top 3 is because it makes me lips feel soft and stays for a reasonable amount of time.

3. Carmex Lip Balm
I do recommend this lip balm if you have dry lips and are in need of a good moisturizing lip product. Carmex leaves your lips feeling super soft and nice. This is not my number one favourite because I use lip products regularly and keep my lips moisturized/ in good care so I don't need as much soothing as this gives me. I also look for the less glossy look in a lip balm which this doesn't have so it is my number three.
You can also get Carmex in different flavours and I really like the Cherry flavour i used a few months ago.
I also have a long list of lip balms I use which I haven't talked about because but I would like to recommend Vaseline, Nivea, Baby Lips, Lush lip scrubs and lip balm, and Id love to create another blog post on these some day.
